Organized in 1897 as the Ladies Village Improvement Society, The Florence Woman's Club moved to its current building in 1929/30. It is a supporting building in the Florence Townsite Historic District. The club continues to use the building with its original light fixtures and fireplace. During WWII the building did double duty as a USO club.
