Jim Thorpe Stadium is on the grounds of Shawnee High School. This stadium, constructed in 1936-9 is built with steel reinforced concrete and brick. It stands 24 tiers on the field side. All of the stadium windows have been covered with wood. The lower windows have brick sills, and the upper windows have brick sills and concrete lintels. The brick has been painted a cream color.
A clubhouse is located north of the stadium, however, in speaking with local authorities, it was determined that this is a newer building. The stadium originally had a WPA-built rock wall and a one-story native sandstone clubhouse which were demolished in a renovation of the stadium area.
