Helmetz Cemetery Chapel

Here, near the citycenter of the Franconian Forest City 'Helmbrechts' exists since the early 1970s these pre-modern cemetery chapel. Construction in a kind of octagonal shape.

Inside, the visitor will see some pretty well designed stained-glass windows in different colours. On top of the building is a dark/grey christian cross mounted.

The cemetery yard has an own history: It was planed an mastered in the 1890s years, when the city expanded. Unfar the local children school was an area about 4000 squaremeters, which was now dedicated as so-callede 'New cemetery' (Schwarzenbacher Straße 24).
