Wilkin Hall was constructed in 1905. Designed by well-known architect, Solomon Layton, this is a massive building and houses an auditorium and the administrative offices for the college.
This is a two-story red brick building with a partially exposed basement level. The main entrance facing North has a wide, impressive staircase consisting of 23 steps, with wide brick side walls. The front porch area has four stone columns, with four faux columns against the building. These columns support a two-story portico with an elaborate portico roof that has a decorative parapet.
A wide stone cornice encircles the building above the second floor level. The roof is flat with slightly elevated parapets at the top of brick pilasters around the building. The windows are one-over-one and on the first floor level, they are topped with stone lintels and keystones. Beneath the basement windows at ground level is a masonry water table.
A two-sided granite cornerstone reads:
