[EN] "The Forum Confluentes is a cultural building on the central square in Koblenz, which has been home to the Mittelrhein Museum, the City Library, the Romanticum and the Tourist Information since 2013. In addition to the cultural building, the Forum Mittelrhein is an inner-city shopping center.
The 32-meter-high cultural building has a usable area of ??12,250 m² and is located at the northern end of the central square. The five-storey Kulturhybrid offers a new space for the Mittelrhein Museum (2.500 m² + 425 m² for temporary exhibitions) and the city library (about 4.500 m²) as well as the Romanticum, a tourism center (1,350 m²) on the UNESCO World Heritage site Oberes middle Rhine Valley. Thus, the cultural institutions of the city, which have been distributed to various houses, are now combined in one central location and now offer barrier-free access. The building has a common 550 m² foyer with a light courtyard and so-called cultural café. A 1650 m² public roof terrace is accessible via a glazed panoramic elevator or via the city library (5th floor) via a staircase. "
