Long Description:
This accommodation bridge is used by railway workers for access to a nearby railway signal box, which stands next to a railway slide bridge over the same canal.

The bridge carries single file road traffic and is made of metal. It is manually operated to open and close it.

There are relatively few boats that use the canal so the bridge is usually left closed to give road users priority.
