The Green Plaques Project, an initiative of the Berry and District Historical Society, was officially launched on Thursday, June 29 2017.
An official unveiling was held at the Berry Museum. Eleven historical buildings in Berry now have circular, bronze green plaques installed. Each plaque features a brief summary of the building’s history.
The plaque is worded:
Country Women's Association Hall
This timber building was originally the school in Pulman Street and was moved here in 1915 to be the Berry Bowling Club. It was bought in 1963 by the CWA of NSW for £1009/17/4.
