The "Brückenmännchen-Beuel" is a 2008 replica of a sculpture from 1898 on Rheinpromenade Bonn-Beuel.

"Brückenmännchen" is the exact copy of a sculpture made in 1898 which hung at that time on the western side of the bridge to provoke the citizens of Bonn-Beuel.
Background was that the bridge was financed exclusively by inhabitants of Bonn because the inhabitants of Beuel did not want to take part in the costs.
This "Brückenmännchen" was copied in 2008 after old original photos and is more faithful than the restored original version at the bridge pier in Bonn. It is located on the new flood control wall on "Rheinpromenade" in Bonn-Beuel.
