Parc Fontaine in Hull has hosted games of pétanque for decades. It is the home of the Club de pétanque Fernand Duguay. The posted co-ordinates are for two gravel terrains that in 2012 were dedicated to the memory of Tony Sousa, a former municipal councillor. For years, Tony Sousa was the provincial champion of pétanque.
Thanks to outdoor lighting, pétanque can be played at parc Fontaine from 07h00 until 22h00. Each July, this site is host to l'International de pétanque du Vieux-Hull.
