LEGACY: Believe it or not, in late 2017 the tower and its base were removed. The area has been tidied up and even the witness sign is now gone.
The 1970 horizontal point géodésique de Terres et Forêts Québec was on the outside corner of the concrete pad for the northeast leg of the hydro-electricity tower. The base of the tower was surrounded by thick brush. See the photograph. There is repère géodésique signage nearby. See the photographs. The site is southeast of the intersection of boulevard Maisonneuve and rue Laurier in Hull.
