EN: This mosaic is located on the front of an old farmhouse in Gelterkinden. It shows a farmer with a plow pulled by a horse, as it was common in the area until the middle of the 20th century.
The mosaic is about two meters wide and has an irregular outline. The stones used are from the region; at least these colors all occur with local stones.
There was no detailed information available on the mosaic or the artist.
DE: Dieses Mosaik befindet sich an der Vorderseite eines alten Bauernhauses in Gelterkinden. Es zeigt einen Bauern mit einem von einem Pferd gezogenen Pflug, wie es bis in die Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts üblich war.
Das Mosaik ist etwa zwei Meter breit und hat unregelmässige Umrisse. Die verwendeten Steine stammen aus der Gegend; wenigstens kommen diese Farben alle bei lokalen Steinen vor.
