The MV Craigantlet was a German container ship that was wrecked on 26. February 1982 just below killantringan lighthouse. Fortunately no lives were lost. At low tide the bow section can be seen. It is best observed from the cliff section to the south. The lighthouse and its grounds are private property and should not be entered.
