Jay Melugin's entry in the Images of America series, "Pilot Point", has many photos of the west side of Pilot Point's historic square, and prominent in them is the old Evans Hardware Store (which no longer stands). Mr. Evans was the first mayor of Pilot Point when the city incorporated in 1906. "Pilot Point" also has a few photos of other Victorian homes of the time period, but sadly, this is but one of a few that are still with us.
