This two laned bridge has a pedestrian foot path on the eastern side, and the plaque for the opening of the bridge is on the southern end (eastern side). It reads:

		  "City of Parramatta
		This bridge was opened
		on 19th June, 1971 by
		Alderman B.C. Wilde, Mayor
			Aldermen
Parramatta Ward Granville Ward Dundas Ward
B.C. Wilde, Mayor	T.P. Collins, Dep Mayor	L.K.H. Crewes
I.C. Dickson H.J. Hay H. Eccles, M.B.E.
L.C. Herbert R.J. Norford A.A. Hyam
G.R. Rahmate H.J. Rogers E. Kimpton
F.B. Ryan G.S.G. Taylor J.F. Pike
A.R.G. Thomas A.D. Welsh R.W. Van Nooten
Town Clerk - K.H. Willis	City Engineer - F.C. Snale
Consulting Engineer - Gutteridge, Haskins and Davey"

The footpath here is only about a metre wide, so caution is required to get your photo of the plaque or the bridge.

The bridge sits partly over the Marsden Street weir. It is a reinforced concrete bridge, with four spans supported by three 'T-shaped' concrete pylons, two of which are in part of the upper Parramatta River below the Waymark, "Marsden Street Weir". There are 'lightweight' aluminium railings on either side of the bridge.

The parking coordinates are for a council car park to the east of this bridge, as I had been on a much longer walk around Parramatta find various waymarks.
