The Elephant Carwash is near the Seattle Space Needle, so both the needle and sign appear together in this Zippy strip.
Zippy last visited this car wash in 2003. Artist Bill Griffith uses the same images in the strip as before, but adds new conversation to the bubbles. In this strip Zippy and Griffy talk about facts and gun violence.
The rotating pink elephant sign has two different sides and both sides are depicted in this strip. Some new buildings have been built between the car wash and the needle, partly obscuring the tower.
