Utah Rails Missouri Pacific Railroad was controlled by Union Pacific after December 22, 1982. UP did not repaint or renumber the cabooses.

This caboose was built between October 1981-January 1982 by MP shops at DeSoto, Missouri; finished at MP shops in Sedalia, Missouri.

17 feet, 10-1/8 inches cabin, with bay widows, centered on frame; 41 feet, 7-3/4 inches over coupler pulling faces; 51,800 pounds light weight.

This caboose was removed from service 8 Jul 1993.
