Location of fields: Robin Ave., just S. of Fairlane Circle, Warrenton

This ball field, once pretty neat, now gone to seed.
Nice backstop, softball mound, and looks as if once was cared for, but no longer.
There is no school nor church nor any orhter organization near here, so this must have been a neighborhood thing. They got together, or some family (who owns the property) got going and made this field for their gatherings.

As a bonus, there is a cork ball field here....if you do not know what cork ball is: the ball is made like a baseball, but about the size of a hand ball. The bat is a little bigger around than a broom stick, and it is played in a cage4.
The rules are similar to Indian ball...you have a pitcher and a field (one)...hit balls that get pats the pitcher are base hits, etc.
