The Fabyan Villa was the home of George and Nelle Fabyan from 1905 to 1939. Originally it was their summer home while they lived in the Chicago. Over the years the Fabyan Villa expanded to a large estate with tennis courts, swimming pool, private zoo, Japanese garden and a Dutch windmill.
In 1907 the Fabyan's hired Frank Lloyd Wright to enlarge and re-model their home. The house is in a Frank Lloyd Wright Praire School style. The house is now a museum showing various memorabilia of the Fabyans.
The Fabyan Villa is open for tours May 15- Oct 15 Wed & Thur 1:00 - 4:00 pm Sat, Sun & Holidays 1:00 - 4:30.
