MONUMENT 553A (PG2226) "Reset" - Derby Line, VT/Stanstead, QC - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This monument sits on the E side of Main St/Rue Dufferin between the Canada & US Ports of Entry & S of a small bridge over the Rivière Tomifobia/Tomifobia River.

The 3'x 3' base was originally described as having a disk set in it (most likely replacing a broken monument) but apparently there was repair work done around 2000 (2000 is inscribed on the W side of the base) and a new post (re)set. Surprisingly, as of this writing, most of the markers have not been field checked for quite a few years, and the datasheets have not been updated.
