The curling rink was closed for the season by the time we arrived in Revelstoke, but we got to shoot the exterior at least. A guess would be that this is a four sheet rink, judging by the size of the building. As do all curling clubs, the Revelstoke Curling Club hosts bonspiels and Cash Spiels through the winter. It is operational from September through March each year.
The club has a
Facebook Page, which tells us that the club opened on September 30, 1950. It also mentions that the club has a Lounge and Kitchen. Ice Rentals can be arranged for both members and non-members, Daily, Nightly, Weekly or Monthly for Business Meetings, Staff Parties, Receptions and Family Gatherings.
For the curling newbies, the club offers
Friday Night Drop In Curling at $5.00 per person, including free instruction & equipment. As well as the usual men's, women's and mixed leagues, the club hosts junior and senior leagues.
