"CASTOR HIGH STREET (north-west side) No 1 (Stone Lea) TL 1298 50/132 14.11.74 II GV 2. C18 coursed stone rubble cottage. Thatched roof with gabled ends. One storey and attics. Two dormers at eaves with modern casements. Two modern ground floor casements with wooden lintels. Three rendered buttresses on front. Right hand. modern porch. Two end chimney stacks. Modern single storey extension on north end. Situated at right angles to High Street, on corner, with back to Stocks Hill."
