Situated on Alii Drive in Kailua - Kona, Hulihe`e Palace was the vacation residence of Hawaiian royalty. Today it is a museum operated by the Daughters of Hawai'i and is a showplace of beautiful furniture and fascinating artifacts.
Open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Open Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
(Plan on arriving by 3:30 p.m. to allow time to tour the Palace)
Closed major holidays including New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Guided tours are given frequently throughout the day and self guided tour brochures are available in English, Japanese, Danish, and German.
There is a modest admission fee to the Palace. Admission to the Palace grounds, the giftshop and many of our concerts is free.
