The village of Meigle is situated in eastern Perthshire and straddles the A94 road as it runs through Strathmore from Perth to Forfar.
The post office is in the centre of the village just off the A94 at the junction of the B954 road that heads for Dundee.
The post office has been incorporated into a Spar grocery store, although the post office sign still remains above the entrance.
