Missouri Kansas Texas Railroad was controlled by Union Pacific after August 12, 1988. At that time, MKT owned 58 cabooses, MKT numbers 6, 24, 61, 74, 100-142 (except MKT 113, 125, 131 and 135), and MKT 200-215 (except MKT 201).
Missouri, Kansas & Texas #140, steel caboose built by the International Car Company in Kenton, OH, in 1966.
