Jesus, also referred to as Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus Christ, was a Jewish preacher and religious leader who became the central figure of Christianity. Jesus was hailed by the people of Judea as the Messiah and Savior. The curious crowds gather around Jesus to hear his teaching about the kingdom of God. Jesus' disciples tried to keep the children away.
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein."
