Der Wegweiser an der Adenauerallee vor der Akademie für internationale Bildung gibt die Richtung und Entfernung zu den drei Partnerstädten des Stadtbezirks Bonn an:
- Oxford (England), Entfernung: 648 km, Partnerstadt seit 1947.
- Budafok (Bezirk der Stadt Budapest, Ungarn), Entfernung: 1130 km, Partnerstadt seit 1991.
- Oppeln (Polen), Entfernung: 1031 km, Partnerstadt seit 1997.
So wie die direkt nebenan stehende, als öffentlicher Bücherschrank genutzte englische Telefonzelle wurde auch der Wegweiser durch den Oxford Club Bonn errichtet und gepflegt.

The direction signs are located at Adenauerallee in front of the "Akademie für internationale Bildung" (i.e. academy for international education). They show the direction and distance to the three sister cities of the urban district of Bonn:
- Oxford (England), distance: 648 km, sister city since 1947.
- Budafok (urban district of Budapest, Hungary), distance: 1130 km, sister city since 1991.
- Opole (German: "Oppeln", Poland), distance: 1031 km, sister city since 1997.
As well as the adjacent English telephone box, which is used as public book exchange, the direction signs have been placed and maintained by the Oxford Club Bonn.
