The weathervane is situated on the roof of a brick built garage at Pear Tree Cottage on Church Lane in Standon.
It has a cat and mouse mounted on it and at first glance I only noticed the cat.
It is constructed of black metal and has a large cat looking nose to nose with a small mouse. (The mouse I have to say does not look too worried!)
Pear Tree Cottage also has eggs, home made chutneys and jams for sale with an honesty box at the gate.
