This time capsule is located just south of Abigail Adams's birthplace in the Weymouth Heights area of Weymouth, MA. Her birthplace, located just north of the intersection of North and Norton Streets, is a simple red house with gables. The time capsule plaque is flat with the surface of the ground and reads:
"Beneath this marker is the time capsule which was buried in July of 1976 in celebration of that bi-centennial year. It is to be opened in July of 2076, by Weymouth town officials."
