Your child can take a seat behind Winnie the Pooh in a really nice looking propeller airplane which is created in such a way that it resembles wood. Pooh's got a smile on his face, with his goggles pushed up on his forehead, and a helmet designed to let his ears poke out.
Rumpy's (or Rümpy's) could very loosely be described as a travel stop, just a bit south of the Texas-Oklahoma border. Certainly, one can refuel and use their clean restrooms, but they've got a wonderful bakery here, along with some deli items, a few of which come from Fischer's Market, up the road in Muenster. Fried pies, sausage rolls, and kolaches are the most popular, and their pizza gets stellar reviews (for which QDV will vouch). Also available are the usual things you'd find in a generic gas station convenience store, although there is a slight German slant to things: They have a really nice selection of German beer, and some places for you to sit if you'd like to take a break.
