There is a plaque on the side of the caboose that reads:
"Dedicated to all American Veterans of War
who through their patriotism and valor
helped to preserve the freedom
of the United States of America
for all its people.
"One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty & justice for all"
Contributed by the American Legion Goad Ballinger Post 69
July 1, 1995."
There is also a series of stacked donated bricks in front of the caboose.
This extended vision caboose is located in a trackside/roadside park along Missouri Hwy B in Rogersville, Mo. The caboose appears to have been repainted, in fact, per frisco.com:
"Not able to agree that it is a great paint job but I will certainly say that it is very shiney and clean. If the painters only would have had a Frisco paint diagram. . . . .
This is not SLSF 200, however, it could very well be one of the CBQ or NP cabooses discussed on another thread. I checked it against the 1400s and 1700s but the cupola windows are totally different."
Several others chime in and state that this caboose is probably a Great Northern caboose repainted as a red Frisco with the numbers SLSF200.
