This anchor is located in the near the Port Burwell Lighthouse in Port Burwell, Ontario. The anchor was recovered from the wreck of the schooner Nimrod which sank on November 8th, 1874 in Port Stanley, Ontario. The 172.3' by 31.7' ship was built in Toledo, Ohio in 1873.
Near the anchor is the Port Burwell Lighthouse and Port Burwell Marine Museum.
