This sign of history is affixed to the landmark 1920s Art Deco Gulf Builing, (known since 2007 as the J. P. Morgan Chase Building) in downtown Houston. The plaque is located on the NW corner of Main and Rusk streets, and is one of 3 plaques that formerly were here.
In 2017, the state historic marker is gone, but the National Register plaque and this DAR sign of history remain.
