Dedicated in the year 2000 by the LST 127 Association"
The LST 127 was a LST-1 class tank landing ship though fought all over the Pacific theatre in WWII including the Marshall Islands and Luzon operations. It received several citations including the American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and Philippines Liberation Medal.
