This cemetery is just south of the town of Diamond, which is the historic location where George Washington Carver was born. Although there are less than 2% of the graves missing dates, the oldest recorded grave in FindAGrave (link below) is from 1869, just after the end of the US Civil War. The most recent burial was from the same year as this waymark.
