101 - Ruth J. Whitsett - Golden, MO USA - Headstones of Centenarians on Waymarking.com

Ruth was born on 29 December 1913 in Trumann, Arkansas to Pete and Evelyn Dino. At 15 years old she married Otto Whitsett. They had 5 children, of which 2 died in infancy. Otto passed away after about 50 years of marriage in 1978. They had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. They even fostered some children.

Later in life, Ruth moved to Missouri, first to the Branson area, and then ending up in an assisted living complex in Golden. She passed away on 28 July 2015, a few months short of 102 years old. Oddly enough, her grave marker has neither date on it - birth nor death! Fortunately, her biography has both dates.
