Im Wappen sind rechts zwei gekreuzte Jagdpfeile in Rot mit silbernen Spitzen, flankiert von sechs Kugeln in Blau auf silbernem Grund zu sehen. Dies erinnert an die frühere Zugehörigkeit der Stadt Bad Breisig zum Stift Essen.
Der Brunnen links deutet auf die vielen Thermalquellen in Bad Breisig.
