This map is situated close to Broughty Castle which sits on the north shore of the Firth of Tay on the southern tip of the town around 4 miles east of the centre of Dundee.

Apart from showing your location on the map the board also has information on the castle, the local wildlife, dolphins and eider ducks, and a poem by William McGonagall

The board also explains that it is situated on two cycle routes, The Suntrans National Cycling Route from Shetland to Dover and the Green Cycling Route that circles the city of Dundee.
