I had no idea that a Herbarium existed in my hometown, especially knowing its location at Southtowne Commerce Center, a large complex with many small businesses operating out of garages.
Klamath Falls Field Office is part of the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management. This department oversees and manages millions of acres of land throughout Southern Oregon within this department. There were office hours posted on the front door so visitors are welcome to pick up maps and ask questions regarding the managed lands within this field office. I don't know if visitors are allowed to view plant specimens or collections. I would assume visitors to the building may view the special collections.
The field office is located towards the back of the commerce center.
