The Waltershof Ferry Terminal is used by the HADAG line 61. The ferry starts at weekdays at the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken, bridge 1. From there it controls the terminals Altona fish market and Dockland at the fishing port. From there it turns into the Köhlbrand and lands here at the Waltershof ferry landing. From here you can return to the opposite ferry landing-place Neuhof at the end stop and after a short stay back. The area around the Waltershofer harbor is called Waltershof. Here are the facilities for the transhipment, storage, repair and transport of over-the-counter containers. In the Hamburg-Waltershof freight station, container trains are assembled. There is also a direct connection to the federal motorway A7 and the Elbtunnel. Waltershof is connected by the Köhlbrandbrücke with the eastern harbor part, with the neighboring island Neuhof and the districts Steinwerder and Wilhelmsburg.
