Hanchurch fisheries is the oldest commercial fishery in the Midlands, dating back to 1985 and is located just outside of Hanchurch, Stoke on Trent.

It offers a fishing complex for all coarse and fly fishing.
There are 9 mature coarse pools which run on a year’s subscription, 3 trout pools which can be fished on a daily Sport or Take ticket and 2 man made canals which are available for matches and day tickets, provided that no matches are booked on that day.

Lake Details:
Pools 1 to 10 are for annual subscribers, whilst offering excellent value rates for day visitors.
Stocks include: carp, crucian, roach, bream, perch, chub, rudd, tench and silver fish.

Raymar Canal (60 pegs) is for the match & day ticket angler. Stocked with everything you could wish to catch, including barbel.

Model Canal (60 pegs) is named after the farm given by the Duke of Sutherland (the former owner of Trentham Gardens). Many competitions are held on the canal lakes and 50-80lb bags are common. Record match weight 102lb 5oz.

Trout Pools - The three pools are well stocked with brown and rainbow trout and also work on day ticket basis.

The complex is controlled by bailiffs and EA bailiffs to ensure the fishery remains in top condition.

The water is open all year long and is suitable for disabled anglers.

Tickets:
Annual Subscription. Day tickets are only allowed on The Raymar or Model Canal, match's permitting. All anglers are advised to check before attending. Fly fishing has returned to Hanchurch on day ticket only at £12 for sport and £17 for two fish.
