The old timber and corrugated iron Pioneering Schoolroom was the original building for the Manjimup Primary School, the building housed students from primary years to pre-high school and is a typical one room - one teacher bush school. As the population of Manjimup increased so did the need for a bigger school, the classroom was used til it was moved to it's present location
