Much of the city is organized around Benito Juárez Park, including the tourist information office of Cozumel and the tourist police kiosk. This large public square is located close to the cruise docks and is surrounded by a number of lively restaurants, bars and shops.

In the park you will find benches, tree planters, a beautiful box-shaped clock tower and statues of Mexican presidents such as Benito Juárez and General Andrés Quintana Roo.

From September 11 to 18 September 2016 has been held the World Triathlon Championships Grand Final in Cozumel, Mexico. The opening ceremony took place at Benito Juárez Park.
