This Perfection No. 8-16 Wood-Burning Cookstove dates from before 1910, because that is the cut-off year for the Dallas Heritage Village. Nothing that is of a newer vintage than 1910 is on display at the museum.
This compact and even elegant cast-iron cookstove fits perfectly into the tiny kitchen of the Shotgun House, but there sure isn't much room to maneuver around it.
