En bordure de la route D560 ou avenue de Sainte Maxime, à Brue-Auriac, on passe devant cette croix pour aller vers la chapelle Notre Dame.
De premier abord, le centre de la croix ressemble à un perroquet mais ce centre est ce qui reste d'une plaque qui devait expliquer sa présence ici
