(EN) "Boat - The Passage ferry
The ferry from Passage to Concarneau
Since the Middle Ages, a ferryman commutes between the Ville-close and the Lanriec district on the other side of the channel. The earliest written accounts of his activity date back to 1678 when the Landevennec abbey owned the right of way.
This service, deprived for several centuries, became municipality in 1976, placed under the responsibility of the marina.
The ferry from the passage is therefore this small boat which makes you cross the entrance of the port, from the Passage Lanriec (place Duquesne) to the closed town, thus avoiding the tour by the bridge of the Moros or by the dry dock if you pass by The fishing port (normally reserved for port users).
Very interesting so to go quickly in town and very fun for the visitors of Concarneau.
This crossing of 200 meters is the "The smallest cruise in the world" with a journey that lasts only 5 min. The bin can carry 30 passengers and it runs 10 hours a day." (
