ENGLISH:

The building was built in 1536/38 by the Flemish architect Johann the Buschener from Antwerp and was rebuilt several times over the following years and centuries. Only the western gable has been preserved from the former building.

The gable, erected in the late Gothic style (on the border of the Renaissance), is a so-called "Treppengiebel" or "Staffelgiebel". On this can be seen seven pillars, decorated by lions. The highest pillar carries the figure of a warrior. The use of the three attic storeys reminded three doors in storey center and a fourth above, from which the house crane hung.
