Lawrence Cemetery is 2.7 hectares of parkland indicating that Lawrence was once perceived as a village that had potential to expand. However this was not to be and Lawrence was eclipsed by Maclean as the largest town on the Lower Clarence.
There is considerable space yet to be utilised. Very little vandalism has taken place & the local council maintain the cemetery in first class order. The columbarium wall was a community project built in 1999. The single wall provides for memorial plaques on one side and 61 niches for ashes and plaques on the other.
There is no sign.
