Two busts of concrete and steel, looking to each other.

"De Werth, with a cannon ball inscribed "Bruler le Palatinat", on a red sandstone sockle shaped as a defense tower (in the Hauptstraße)
Kunigunde, the sockle is shaped as part of a medieval town wall (in the Kunigundenstraße)

Citizen's daughter Kunegonde Kirchner saved in 1689 the town from pillage by the French troops by her pleas to the French general Montclair with help of De Werth, with whom she was in lover (and later she married him).

Unveiled on 30 June 2000, the birthday of Kunigunde Richter. "
