This WPA bridge sits just south of the Tufa Bridge. It used to connected to the upper end of the Lake Trail but that has since washed away so it now connects the Panther Hollow Trail to the Hollow Run Trail (also known as the Bridle Path). The Hollow Run that goes underneath it is nearly full of silt because of its closeness to the Tufa Bridge. This makes it look huge compared to the small stream. It was built in 1939 by the WPA.
Project type: Bridge

Date built or created: 1939

Location: Panther Hollow Run Trail

City: Pittsburgh

Condition: Good upkeep with a little wear and tear
