Dès les beaux jours, ses terrasses se remplissent, les bateaux retrouvent leur mouillage. Les allées et venues des annexes des plaisanciers et les bateaux de l’école de voile animent l’anse toute entière. Le soir, au retour de sa sortie de la journée, la bisquine se fait remarquer en regagnant son corps-mort et les promeneurs sur le sentier des douaniers sortent les appareils-photos.
L’animation monte encore d’un cran en saison. Les familles des habitués sont au complet, la plage fait le plein avec les vacanciers et le club de plage réjouit les enfants. Chaque semaine, les commerçants organisent des animations musicales pendant que les acharnés de la pétanque occupe le terrain de boules.
A l’automne, l’anse de Port-Mer retrouve son calme et le temps du week-end des Bordées, les chants de marins envahissent encore une fois les lieux avant de laisser la plage accueillir les derniers baigneurs.
